Avoid pulling or snagging the beadwork. Be gentle when dressing and removing the garment.

• Use the Provided Cotton Storage Bag

Store your kimono/kaftan in the breathable cotton bag included with your purchase to protect it from dust, humidity, and snagging.

• Keep Away From Heat & Moisture

Do not tumble dry, steam directly on beads, or expose to high heat. If steaming is needed, use low heat from a distance on non-embellished areas only.

• Store on a Padded Hanger

Our makhwars are crafted from 100% cotton and finished with delicate glued gem detailing. To preserve the fabric and embellishments, please follow the care instructions below:

• Gentle Hand Wash Only

Wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods.

• Do Not Machine Wash

The movement of the machine can loosen or remove the glued gems.

• Handle Embellishments With Care

Do not rub, scrub, or twist the areas with gems. Clean around the embellishments gently.

• Air Dry Only

Lay flat or hang to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight and all heat sources, as heat can weaken the adhesive.

• Do Not Iron Over Gems

Use a low heat setting and iron only on non-embellished areas. If needed, place a cloth over the fabric and press around the gems.

• Store in a Cool, Dry Place

Fold or hang neatly. Keep away from heat and humidity to protect the adhesive.
